10 days of Annual paid leave should be given to you if you meet followings requirement;
Work 6 months at company
Go to the office 80% of that period
As this is minimum condition determined by the law, some companies give you 10 days paid leave as soon as you join the company. The longer you work for your company, the more days of annual paid leave you will be granted at most 20 days per year. Paid leave is valid for two years but it is common that we don’t use them completely. According to the statistics, employees in Japan use only 50% of granted paid leave. Unfortunately, we don’t take a 1 month vacation like a European country.
